With our shared commitment to eliminate single-use plastics and take care of the environment, the alliance supports implementation of the Parley AIR Strategy (Avoid, Intercept, Redesign), introduces special edition reusable bottles, and generates additional funding and awareness for ocean initiatives around the world.
Kicking off during Plastic Free July 2024, Parley x Frank Green launched with educational content and a series of beach cleanups carried out by Parley Australia along the Great Barrier Reef and beyond. The partnership will continue to deliver impactful projects with a focus on community education, plastic interception, material science and eco-innovation.

TAKING ACTION WITH PARLEY AUSTRALIA
Parley’s Australian team, based in Cairns, plays a critical role in conservation, education and cleanup efforts along the Great Barrier Reef and beyond. Operating in some of the most fragile ecosystems on the continent, the crew has already achieved incredible milestones, including:
Protecting over 14 million square meters of beach and coastline.
Diverting more than 100,000 kilograms of waste from Australian coastal ecosystems.
Organizing over 350 cleanups with the help of over 6,000 volunteers.
The largest expedition to date took place on Cape York Peninsula, working along the Northern Great Barrier Reef, which covers over 40% of the reef’s coral systems. In just eight days, 40 volunteers removed a staggering 5.5 tonnes of plastic from this remote and would-be pristine environment.
