adidas x Parley: ALPHAEDGE 4D
adidas unveils evolved ALPHAEDGE 4D featuring triple white and Parley for the Oceans editions
From the early Ocean Plastic® prototypes created with designer Alexander Taylor to our Ultraboost and NMD editions, adidas X Parley has pioneered the introduction of upcycled materials into increasingly innovative footwear. Today, adidas unveiled the latest ALPHAEDGE 4D running shoes, including a triple white and Parley for the Oceans edition, all of which include the revolutionary ADIDAS 4D midsole.
The upper of the ALPHAEDGE 4D Parley for the Oceans edition is made with Ocean Plastic®, a premium material for the sports, fashion and luxury industries made from intercepted and upcycled marine plastic debris. Fusing marine plastic debris (usually seen as a worthless material) with new technology, the release offers another design avenue for transforming threat into thread into products – powerful symbols of change that help drive the movement forward.
